Who we are
Nationwide Chimney Sweep & Repair San Francisco is a chimney sweep and repair business based in San Francisco, working across the wider Bay Area. We are a service-area business: there is no public storefront to visit, and every job happens at the customer’s property.
SF runs on one crew across all five services: chimney sweep, chimney cleaning, chimney inspection, chimney repair and chimney cap installation. Whoever answers the call is the technician who scopes the job, and that is also who shows up to finish it.
What we will confirm, and what we will not
This page sticks to numbers we can actually document: a 5.0 rating from 23 Google reviews, last counted ; hours of 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., every day; and a twenty-mile service radius from central San Francisco. There is no licence number, certifying body, or founding date printed here, and there won’t be until one exists to confirm — we’d rather show nothing than make something up.
The reviews behind it
All 23 of them sit at five stars on our Google Business Profile, visible in full to anyone who looks. No hand-picked excerpt here — the link goes straight to the source.
How a visit actually goes
Every visit starts the same way: floor and hearth protection down before any brush, vacuum or tool touches the firebox. Sweeps and cleanings run behind a sealed HEPA vacuum the whole time. A repair gets its scope written down before the first tool comes out — we do not work from a number guessed at curbside.
Where we work
San Francisco’s coverage runs twenty miles from downtown: the city itself, plus Daly City, South San Francisco, San Mateo, Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Hayward, Richmond and El Cerrito. Just outside that ring, give us a call and we will verify coverage before anything is scheduled.

I was nervous about using the fireplace with our new baby in the house. They did an extra thorough safety inspection, cleaned years of buildup, installed a heavy spark screen, and tested carbon monoxide levels. Everything checked out great and we now enjoy fires with complete peace of mind.
Tell us what changed
Something is different and you cannot quite place it: a new odor, a soot streak that was not there, a draft finding its way in somewhere. Describe it and we will tell you exactly what it means.
